Range versus Depth

In video games there are two ways to describe emotion. The first is Range. Range describes the types of emotions that the video game may evoke. The second is depth. Depth is to what extent an emotion has a lasting impact. Often video game designers sacrifice range for depth. There should be a chart for this.

Halo has depth, but no range

Cloud sacrifices some depth in exchange for range
