TV Garden

This is one of my all time favorite works evar. I first saw it in the retrospective at the Guggenheim Bilbao when I was a freshman in highschool. It stuck with me ever since. The one at the Nam June Paik Art Center is a bit smaller and in a lit room. I'm glad I saw the one in Bilbao first but this one is still super awesome. Plus, this one had fountains!

Automatic Drawing?

Dirty Mousepads, 2009, by JK Keller

"By switching a typical mousepad with a sheet of paper, I am able to collect an echo of my computer use over the course of a few months. The resulting drawing embodies both a warm earthy tone while also being indicative of the filth one accumulates through prolonged use of technology."

The Perfect Artistic Web Site

ARTIST'S STATEMENT N0. 45,730,944: THE PERFECT ARTISTIC WEB SITE (English), by Y0UNG-HAE CHANG HEAVY INDUSTRIES

forgot to post from Feb.

Finally a definition for Neen..

"Neen: Quando con strumenti artificiali si crea un eco di stati d'animo umani.

Neen: When-by artificial means- an echo is created: the state of mind of human beings."

I dig it. It reminds me what Pablo always talks about with Penrose and consciousness studies but mashed up with computers.

"g comprises a lead ball, perched on the “g” key of a laptop computer, that creates a seemingly infinite Word document– until the computer crashes."
