We Are The World pics

Here are some pictures from We Are The World at Roots and Culture gallery. I was not incredibly fond of the show as a whole but these are the best pieces any how.

Xeni Jardin on connectivity

"Once, wisdom was measured by memory, by the capacity to store and process and retrieve on demand. But we have tools for that now. We made machines that became shared extensions of mind. How will we define wisdom now? I don't know, but I can ask."

Not the greatest essay but still kindof nice. There is a part about traveling with a connection. Which is what makes me want to travel more.
It reminds me of when a friend had a Jeep with PS3 and Wii with projectors in the back and would stop anywhere to play games. Check stuff on our phones, download music. We talked about getting a Clearwire hub put in too so we could share our internet with friends in surrounding cars.

Projector Drawing

A drawing I made in 2005 with a projector using mostly a live Internet connection to determine the content.
It's still hanging in Anamaria's old bedroom at her parent's house in Texas.
